Evelyn Nguy is a Vice President in the San Francisco office of Cogent Valuation. Prior to joining Cogent Valuation, Ms. Nguy was a member of the valuations and consulting team at Armanino McKenna LLP, a CPA firm. She started her valuation career in 2004 at ValueNomics Research, Inc.

Ms. Nguy’s work experience includes the valuation of privately-held companies for various purposes, including financial reporting (123R, 141R & 142), stock option pricing (409A), estate & gift tax, merger & acquisition, and shareholder dispute.

Ms. Nguy has provided valuation opinions in a cross section of industries, including: technology, telecommunications, real estate holding and development, life sciences, retail, wholesale, computer hardware & software, professional services, and consumer & industrial product manufacturers.

Ms. Nguy graduated from San Jose State University in May 2004, Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance. She is a CPA with an Accredited Business Valuation (ABV) credential and is also an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) of the American Society of Appraisers.
