Phillip Zhou is a Vice President in the San Francisco office ofCogent Valuation. Mr. Zhou’s work experience includes the valuation ofcompanies in diverse industries, including life sciences, hightechnology, miscellaneous manufacturing, energy, financial services,consumer products and LLC’s and LP’s holding diverse assets for the purpose ofinvestment management. The purposes for such engagements include optionspricing, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, divestitures, pre-IPOvaluation, equity allocation, estate planning and litigation support.

Mr. Zhou graduated with honors from UC Berkeley with concurrentdegrees, a B.S. from the Walter A. Haas School of Business in BusinessAdministration, and a B.A. degree in Economics. Mr. Zhou is a Level IIICandidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
